Welcome to House News
Here you will find an update on what all four houses are up to and what they have coming up!
By Prof. Maxim Trevelyan
The spring term is well on its way and the castle is teeming with happenings.
Gryffindor is celebrating their founder, Godric Gryffindor, with different creative and puzzle tasks. If you want some shiny rubies, make sure you join in by 25th April! Do you want to help the Hogwarts portraits with sprucing them up? Then join the roleplay. In May, the lions will be offering a new roleplay prompt, discussions at the Fat Lady's Portrait, and games aplenty at Peeves Place! For news, Gryffindors can visit Here Dwell the Brave and get more Quidditch information at Cubs with Clubs or by contacting Prof. Maxim Trevelyan. Hufflepuff is leading us on the journey around Peru in April. We got a scoop that their next destination for Wonders of the World might be a lovely country in Europe. By the fireplace, badgers are currently discussing Kelly Clarkson with another artist being featured in May. Badgers can also visit the Broom Cupboard to get more quidditch information or can contact HQT captain, Katelin Ross. There are always pictures to color at the Creative Club, puzzles to solve in the Department of Huffle Games and Sports, and badger-specific activities in the Kitchen and Library. A lot is happening in the Sett! Ravenclaw is inviting you to a tea party, hosted by Prof. Sindor Aloyarc. Join the Roost, pick up your best garments and fall into adventure. The Debate Club is always open for a friendly debate, and eagles discuss their pop culture passions in E=MC Hammer. Eagles can also reach out to Prof. Sindor Aloyarc for more information about the Ravenclaw Quidditch Team, or its accompanying cheerleaders, The Salsa Squad. We also overheard that Alexander Brighton has some possible new fun in the works for May, so keep your eyes on the Roost. Slytherin is on a mission to save the wizarding world, or doom it. The Rosenkreuz Order is on the loose and it is up to you, brave member of HOL, to save us all. Head over to the Dungeon to receive your mission from Caius Magnusson, the new Slytherin promising student. There are also things to do in the Creative Club, Arcade Club, and Puzzle Corner. Snakes can find themselves a sidekick, start a journal, or join a Green vs. Silver team at any time as well. Lastly, more information about Quidditch can be found at the Locker Room Entrance in the Dungeons or by contacting Prof. Will Lestrange. For our sporting enthusiasts, we have a couple of Quidditch matches happening in the near future. On April 29th, Gryffindor and Ravenclaw will face-off in a rather thrilling conclusion for those two teams and on May 13th, the last match before play-offs, Hufflepuff and Slytherin will be locking their broomsticks on the pitch. And that concludes the house news for this issue! Each house has a lot going on in April and May, so you have your choice of all manner of activities to choose from. Many thanks to Prof. Sindor Aloyarc and Prof. Tarma Amelia Black for all the information! |
